With a distinguished track record of empowering over 75,000 clients, Julie Lancaster stands out as a visionary CEO, an award-winning coach and trainer, a leadership development authority, and a master business strategist. Her venture, Lancaster Leadership, has revolutionized leadership teams across sectors, leveraging her unique background that spans from being a rock-climbing instructor to agriculture extension agent in Africa to professor and dean of education, where she specialized in the psychology of motivation and interpersonal communication.
Before launching Lancaster Leadership, Julie served more than 100 direct reports and provided 900 performance evaluations; she’s learned what makes teams succeed and fail.
Earning accolades such as Entrepreneur of the Month, Businesswoman of the Month, Top Coach in Flagstaff, and Adjunct Instructor of the Year, Julie supports organizations with leadership retreats, strategic planning events, team coaching, and leadership academies.
She holds a B.A. in International Studies and M.A. in Education: Culture, Language & Diversity. Julie is a certified group coach, Myers-Briggs practitioner, Change Style Indicator and Change Style Navigator facilitator.
Julie's lifelong passion has been to truly connect with people, places and cultures. Ignited by part of her childhood in Tokyo, Julie has visited, volunteered, or worked in 5 continents, 38 countries and 42 states.
Julie’s work combines the schools of psychology, teaching, coaching, and business to create transformative programming for leaders and teams. She works with organizations that believe change is possible, appreciate being pushed, and seek to invite both productivity and joy. These include the National Park Service, Head Start, W.L. Gore & Assoc., and Temple University. When not in boardrooms or retreat venues, Julie can be found digging in the dirt or hiking across Spain, Italy, or her birth state of Pennsylvania and current state of Arizona.
